I have a small dog with separation anxiety who escaped crates and could jump and climb out of even very tall pens. Using this cover has discouraged her from jumping and climbing. She is now able to stay more safely in a pen when I leave the apartment.
A pen is necessary to prevent her from destructive chewing or jumping on dangerous places like the kitchen counter. Although the cover has seemed to prevent her from escaping, I monitor her with a camera just in case. It seems pretty secure, and I don’t think she would be able to work her way out of it, but it would be better if the cover fit even more securely somehow.

So It fits on top of the cage easily, but no clear instructions, and it doesn't allow you to partially have the top on (using for Rabbit not dog)

Absolutely love this playpen and the lid is super-helpful. One thing I'd love to see is maybe the ability to make the top smaller (so if I don't have the whole thing set up, I could still cover it) or if we could just buy a smaller sized lid.
